Yes, it's more or less the order that it's in my cupboard :p .
I had thought about different orders, including chronological, but decided against it in the end, and bar one or two exceptions I just put them in the order I filmed them in. It seemed to work quite well.

While Chyros entered this ASMR business, I casually did some ASMR search, and dang... found out that eating a McDonald meal can give someone > 3 Million views...
WTF

Definitely love the idea of combining all of these into one video. My thought would be to also make a truncated version that has each keyboard type for 10-15 seconds so that you could go through them all in 25 minutes or less without getting bored of any particular one if you are watching for the purpose of choosing which switch types you might like to try in the future. All the work as been done, you'd just need to shorten each clip to the first 10-15 seconds. Maybe also keep the names of each keyboard there throughout the clips as well?
Not trying to downplay this awesome work, I just think a separate video with the above modifications might appeal to a whole new audience

Yeah with the help of that great comment with all the timestamps, I'm not sure this is totally necessary anymore - If anyone is doing research they can click into any switch type/keyboard they want to hear now.orihalcon wrote: Definitely love the idea of combining all of these into one video. Your new equipment really captures the sound of the Model F AT. I love the deeper sound of it compared to the high pitched sound from the metal case F's. You can also pick up that other unique sound it makes - I had never really thought much about it, but it sounds exactly like two marbles smacking together and vibrating.

Yes, the new mic is fantastic, it's helped me to no end. Although it takes much longer to edit videos now because of the added complexity of having separate audio and video channels (which need to be synced as well), the increase in quality is excellent. Similarly the better camera has helped me hugely with getting (and keeping) things in focus, as well as dealing with colours, white balance and lighting better. And of course the light set, which allows me to film when it's not midday and at times when it's cloudy and stuff. The new equipment is amazing.Harshmallow wrote: Your new equipment really captures the sound of the Model F AT. I've been wanting to do a video like this, in which you can directly compare typing noises, recorded under identical conditions, for a while now, and I think it's come out very nicely. The F AT is actually a really nice-sounding keyboard; I'm sure my Nokia wouldn't have captured the differences between the Models F very well.

You look a bit confused with the Tipro as well, I think you were missing the spacebar, or a client to process a payment from...
