A Bolt modded IBM M SSK doesn't seem to work

I bought a bolt modded IBM M SSK keyboard a while ago from a group buy. I can't seem to make this to work at all. I confirmed that this board has been working normally via elecplus before shipment. I've written information down in to the group buy thread and I contacted directly elecplus as well. I also fear that this has been damaged somehow during shipping or something. At least one of the support legs was damaged and I found the piece so I can glue it back. That also makes this whole plate to move. My friend is willing to check this board with oscilloscope at some point.

I've tried this on 5 different computers: 2x Windows 7 (PC), 1x Windows 10 (PC), 1x Windows 2000 (Laptop) and on Arch Linux (main PC). I've tried with PS/2 cable alone and with an adapter I have. It should work with Model M keyboards but might have some issues on them. I'm also interested to know is it possible I can't get enough power to fire this keyboard up? I've used a multi meter to check if my cable is okay; so far I've gotten beeps from it. I need to check again if something's missing.

I was able to open keyboard up but I can't seem to find anything that is missing or damaged at least on the controller. I haven't opened this further on. Getting quite lost with this thing. I need some ideas where to look next!

Confirmed to work on my friend's old computer. Also works like a champ with Orihalcon's SDL to USB cable which I got today

Do you have a full-size Model M keyboard with compatible controller? You could try performing a controller swap; if the SSK works then, it's likely that there's an issue with the original controller.

This is my first Model M keyboard and I don't have any spare parts available. Would have been a nice thing at this point.

I found your post in the EU GB thread; you should definitely also make sure you have an active PS/2-USB adapter. Cheap 2-3 USD ones apparently won't do.

Yeah. I need to confirm that. According to a local shop comments this should work on Model M keyboards. This makes me to wonder my PS/2 alone didn't work.

I've even found differences in the visually same looking DIN to PS/2 adapters, half of the ones that ran through my hands were basically junk.

The most simple check is dis-connecting and re-connecting all the wires and cables.
Those flat ribbon cables can be troublesome so I would start there.

Interestingly enough I got this keyboard to work on my friend's computer. Also I got Orihalcon's SDL to USB cable combined with Soarer's converter and this WORKS! I almost lost all of my hope because this thing didn't work on so many computers. This is life
