I need something for tablets (that's real tablets, not iOS/Android), ideally with a built in stand. I still have an iGo keyboard but I've never really used it due to it's weird layout. What I want is a 'normal' keyboard, UK layout (I'll take US layout if I have to), but folding. Reduced pitch is fine, but it's got to be realistically typeable on and not have peripheral but important keys like \/ and # ~ ¦ scattered about all over the place.
Any suggestions? The front runner on my radar by default is the Wedge Keyboard but it doesn't fold.
What's a good 5-row, actually portable Bluetooth keyboard?

Matias Laptop Pro is 6-row and non-foldable, but still very compact and mechanical too. It has bluetooth and can recharge its Li-ion batt via USB.
Lenovo also makes a nice bluetooth ThinkPad keyboard.
Those are the ones I'm familiar with.

Thanks, I'm aware of both but in the case of the Matias I've zero interest in mechs for desktop or mobile to be honest - and in portable use it wouldn't make any sense as it'll really weigh them down. And in the case of the Lenovo, if you mean the Tablet 2 keyboard I have it and I've used it once - way too heavy/large. The Wedge is at the upper end weight and sizewise (and I'd have to ditch the cover-stand and use something else as it's too heavy) in terms of what I'm prepared to carry but it's still on the too-big side for stowage.

Wow. An ~800g cabled scissor without a number pad... What's it made of? Leaddavkol wrote:In the end, I usually carry a typematrix with me. They even had plans to release a new version, which would be either wireless, or at least with a detachable cable... too bad it probably won't ever come to life.

Back in the days of Palm OS, I was a big fan of the ThinkOutside portable keyboard. They had various versions for different devices, but their final version was a Bluetooth model. Here's a listing on Amazon with photos.
Back in 2007 I found one on eBay and bought it and used it for many years and it's still part of my kit for extended travel. I find that I have to re-pair it with my devices every time I use it, but it's been a solid and quite portable keyboard.
Granted, it's somewhat dated, but it is an option that you may not have considered.
