maybe for Bépo layout.
yep, exactly. The Ê legend is on the iso extra key on the right of the left shift. It's the only key missing with « and » for bépo but I understand that you have to reduce costs.

Moreover, the Ç key in mono international deserves to be in capital like the rest. And the cedilla doesn't look like one : it shouldn't be a straight line but an hook. It deserves a change of font like the @ has.

bepo should go in the FR kit I guess, not mono-legend? I could remove one slash and replace it with Ê maybe...

you are right on the Ç, it must be uppercase... but I can't mess with characters I'm not confident with. Show me how it should be and I'll try to work on it.

edit: I found this, is the pointed the right one?

Apart from the yellow/orange keys, is there really interest for any of the other keys?

A chevron control and red arrow Muirium kit then! Or are these the only "WIN" keys too?

The followings are the keys asked only once:

- white ESC
- copy/cut/paste/...
- chevron ctrl

never been asked:
- colored arrows

So...

I'll officially ask for the red arrows and white ESC now then! I'm sure someone asked for a monochrome F-row too. I will be using media keys up there where I can, but could still use those.

F-row is not under scrutiny.

Only chevron ctrl, copy/past/... and red arrows

that's how Gotham is done, we can discuss that, but I see ° as degree symbol, as such without underline.

I implore you to reconsider. AFAIK, this key is part of the Portuguese and Spanish keyboard layouts, and it shows the ordinal indicators ª and º. The masculine ordinal indicator may look like a degree sign in some fonts but is is different. If one of the indicators is underlined, the other one should be underlined as well. Alternatively, print them without the underline. In that case, it may look exactly the same as the degree sign (technically, the degree sign is a circle with uniform line width while the masc. ord. indicator is a small letter O and looks, well, like a small O).

ª (unicode 00AA) feminine ordinal indicator
º (unicode 00BA) masculine ordinal indicator
° (unicode 00B0) degree sign

Let me demonstrate:
°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°º°

Note that other keyboard languages, e.g. German, do include the degree sign.

ª º looks more consistent to me.

agreed.

thanks Kurk for the explanation. I prefer no underscores at all if everyone is happy with it.

I like them both ways (so long as it's consistent) but I'm hardly using them for real.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Unicode!

I love this kit, i want everything (i don't need chevron but i don't care about paying a little more for them). It is a great kit, and it could be the perfect kit with grey color instead of yellow...

Yes!

I would also accept grey arrows instead of red if you want to go monochrome on this kit, Matt. Or keep 'em red for the colour fans. Either is fine by me.

okay so basically, keep everything, remove chevrons... I'm really sorry, Muir...

The underlines indicate these are not just ordinary a and o, but male and femal a and o's.

Actually, that would be perfect! If you can. 1.25u only.

Yay, thanks for keeping the copy/paste... :)
Also, will we be able to order 1 unit blank keys separately ?

bépo is too different from azerty to go into FR kit, it will takes a lot of new legends especially for the numrow. That's why its place is in MONO : Ê is the only diacritic specific to this layout.

Cedilla is more like writing a little 5 under the letter, not a comma or an acute, so the best look is those on the right of your arrow, except to the last one which is a bit unconventional. If you check the Round4 bépo set you can see the legend used by SP for Ç (near the return key).

thanks for your feedback, Vierax.

I'll post an update later.

SP is working on an update to the software, today we might start the GB

3 weeks, sorry. might be extended to 1 month, but not more than that.

Agreed to Muirium (again :D) it can increase MOQs, but IMHO more than 2 months is too much. So yes 1 month should be enough.

I'll need to make a bépo layout picture example to present the GB to this community even if people aren't very interested to MX keyboards : unfortunately there are too much TypeMatrix 2030 users (the way to have a cheap bépo keyboard) but as contrary to SA, the DSA profile is a good argument for modders and should suit even for people who forked bépo to their specific purpose.

It all checks out for me. So chuffed to see ^ in its rightful place. Between Multimedia and Apple kits, all my function row needs are covered.

Have we settled on which 1.75u (Caps Lock replacement) legends we're using? CONTROL is obvious there, and FUNCTION even better. ENTER is an interesting addition too.

1.75 is now: SHIFT, CONTROL, FN, ENTER, (+ STEPPED CONTROL)

they are not included, but we have still time to make few adjustments.
Bumping this post to make sure you don't forget about these
