Hello, I am wondering if anyone has ordered custom printed buckling spring keycaps from Fentek and what the ordering process and results were like? Do the colors match what Unicomp ships with their keyboards?
Pictures would be great.

I have tried both Fentek and Hoolean. If I am recalling correctly, Fentek could only supply blank single-unit keycaps in a few colors. Hoolean asked me to send them a list of the keycaps I wanted and they were going to get back to me with prices, but they did not respond to my sending the list or to a subsequent inquiry.
In contrast, I have had a very good experience with ordering custom keycaps from Unicomp. They are very prompt with filling orders and their prices are reasonable. However, they have some limitations. At present, they can custom print only the legends that are standard on existing keycaps and only on single-unit (1x) keys. In addition, the printing on some of their pre-printed sets, such as the Mac OS modifiers, does not have the same quality of printing as is found on original IBM keycaps. For example, I found that the "Command" printing was a bit too bold and somewhat askew. On the other hand, the custom printing on the 1x keys is excellent. Overall, I have been quite pleased with Unicomp.
