Any ID on these exceedingly awful switches?

I found an old Motorola development terminal from 1982, and it also happens to feature the worst switches I have ever seen in a keyboard. 
They are a linear spring-over-membrane design with a cross mount, and features an internal as well as an external coil spring.
Also a weird metal disk that sits on the base of the mount.
Very intriguing
