A little something I decided to throw together to see how it would look. Many Model M's went went into the making of this unit.

Thanks! There are just some usual issues, a little rust on the plate plus the case has had a little bit of touchup paint. Also the foam is broken down but it feels excellent to type on as a daily driver without doing a full restoration just yet. Also the plate doesn't quite line up in the case so certain keys near the edges like to get stuck.

I really like the RGB modifiers, much nicer looking than the Unicomp ones. What board did those come from, and are they pad printed?

Not quite sure, I assume some sort of pad printing? I believe these were just custom keys to make it easier for noobs to memorize keyboard shortcuts so not tied with any particular part number. Some more pics:

Looks awesome. F107 has to be one of the best boards IBM ever made and yours looks like it's in fantastic shape. I really like the way the APL caps look too.

I totally thought that said "STOP ALARM BEEF" until I zoomed in on the picture.

Ultra-Sexy Beige Wonder with some accent of colour (always appreciated).
This is what a "Super Keyboard" should look like, thank you for showing it here on DT.

Really nice F107. I also like the ANSI mod and APL keys. Thanks for sharing

I keep going back and forth about whether I should have kept mine to classic beige.

Very nice. Good to see a different colored case with some colored keys. There is only one solution to this dilemma, you need one of each

It's like looking at a scientific data terminal instead of a banking machine. I love it.

Where to buy the colorful keycaps? Unicomp is selling them now?

I think the RGB mods are sold by unicomp but the other keys (except the DT cap) come from some vintage keyboard. Maybe they were produced by IBM or by Unicomp (I think JP once posted about them, he can tell you more) but they should come from some large OEM orders. I don't think that Unicomp sells these caps individually these days but you may be able to do a custom order.

The colored keys I have all come from other vintage Models M's that I have collected. Unicomp does sell RGB mods but they have black dye sub lettering so look a bit different than what is on my board which have white printed lettering. The DT cap comes from WokeChill who is no longer doing custom dye sub work with IBM blanks due to various issues with the cap fitting on the stem.

Thanks, hansichen and JP!.
Seems the keys are some kind of orphan, have to say a little jealous of you. What beauty.
