Hello!
Today I'm presenting to you all a 1800 but with a 75% form factor.
What do I mean by that? Chop off 3 columns to the right of a G80-1800 and you should see what I mean.
Features :
- 1800/75% layout
- MX/Alps
- Weight
- Lock Lights
- Aluminium Case
- ISO/ANSI
- possibly Nylon bottom
We're torn between a few layouts, be sure to vote here for the one you like.
The name of the keyboard is also subject to change, right now the two main ones are:
- 1875 (1800 + 75%)
and
- 1800S (1800 Small)
There should be a case render within the next couple weeks!
Thank you for reading and helping us with the decision making - be sure to give feedback on it if you have a better idea!

Interested in almost all 75%
In the photo of your "prototype" just removing the "Entf" key and then reducing the spacing between the number row to the function key row will do the trick.

Ha, this is probably what the keyboard will look like, if you look at the form, the layout #4 is the one which is probably going to be produced as it leads by miles in the polls !

As I also entered as comment in my vote, I'd love to see a layout option like this, with the Print key separated and the three LEDs between it and the F keys, since I think the three LEDs in that position is one of the defining features of the 1800 layout.

NumLock is unnecessary, obviously, but ScrollLock is still useful, as Excel users (and others) can attest.

Numlock to avoid the combination fn + u, fn + i, fn + o when you want type numbers?
In fact Numlock can be used to show to user the that current Layer isn't the default layer but the N layer?

If the controller has enough usable PWM lines, I think that independent LEDs should also be installed under Caps Lock/left Control, under right Control and the top/right key. That way you could have indicators for Caps Lock, Compose (or whatever) and Num Lock and use the three LEDs to show layer.
Also, in the top right key's footprint, do duplicate the left LED pad on the right so that you could install a Cherry MX Lock switch in there with a LED.
And of course I expect the layout to also support original Cherry key sets for both 7u and 6u space bars beside the layout with 1.25 mods and 6.25 space. Support for Cherry's 6.25 space with offset stem would also be nice.

Power, Caps, Scroll
Power is therefore always on.
