List of all known SSK KEYCAP Variants?

As far as I know, there really aren't that many variants of keycaps on SSK's other than:

One Piece
Two Piece
Dodge and Ford with the few blue keycaps
Displaywrite
Terminal Version

Anything that is left off of this list?

I have the full size version Sabre Airline keyboard like the picture taken from here:

...and supposedly someone has a Sabre Airlines SSK which I had not heard about which is new in open box and wondering if this has been seen before? Seems like it shouldn't exist given that airline bookings no doubt would benefit from having the numpad?

Also got me wondering what other keycap variants that I don't know about, so post any others that you know of!

There might be an APL variant. I don't recall seeing one myself though.

I think the 1393691 is the SSK version of the 1393464. A member was selling one, with possibly replaced keycaps as a few have mismatching alignment, here a few months ago.

There's also a special keycap replacement set with upper and lowercase alpha legends. It has front-printed numbers for an embedded numpad so it's probably safe to say it was meant for SSKs. Snuci has that one.

Lastly, I guess this kinda counts. Unicomp has their own version of the standard SSK keyset, with the regular Helvetica legends they use nowadays and blue numpad sublegends. Those were found on the ISO UNI04C6/1394047 but you can just order the keyset from Unicomp as well.

I also imagine there are weird "one-offs" that IBM/Lexmark made for some specialized purpose that may never be found. Unicomp told me that Lexmark did this a lot for their various customers.

Oh my, isn't this incredibly interesting? The blue legends are a partial implementation of the "Spanish (Latin America)" layout. I found snuci's original post (keyboards-f2/ever-seen-ibm-model-m-key- ... 12374.html) so I'm going to comment on this in detail over there.

Me too! Would it be a faux-pas if I called dibs on the next keyset like this that shows up?

Technically, there could be an official IBM blank keycap set for SSK (it could work for both SSK and M). I got this some time ago.

No, it would just be silly. You either get it or you don't, you can "call dibs" all day long if you want no one will stick to that here. :evilgeek:

Dibs plus a thousand dollars goes a long way. The dibs are optional.

That's right. Might as well "dibble dabble". A thousand dollars is a bit too much for that nice keyset though. ;)

Those are not from an SSK but look at those legends, they make the original legends go out their way to be on the += cap ...

I received the Sabre SSK new in box and will have to take some pictures and post here. The seal was broken, but appears unused. It did indeed have a part number of 1393691 and the part number on the box also matches this, so it appears to be legit. If you google that part number, there seems to maybe have been 2 for sale over the past 6 years or so, but no pictures remain of them as ebay only keeps those around for a few months to a year maybe. One guy put in the description that it has "rare green stenciling" - http://www.ebay.com/itm/301413209083

There's a couple of localized SSK variants as well, user POTV has an 1391487 (French Canadian) set, still waiting for pics though ;)
