So, what's the hold up I hear you ask? Well twofold: First, I was sick of working on a crappy plastic table so I took some time to build a proper work bench. Link to post: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=24296

Second, my powder coating guy has been moving shop and is taking ages to get my plates done.

So finally I said "screw it" and decided to just paint the darn thing. So a few coats of primer, a few coats of flat black and a few coats of clear coat. Good enough I say. (The other plate is a teaser of my next project )


Now I can get back to work.

Thought I'd take a picture of this cause the color scheme looks pretty cool.


Here it is all put together sans touch pad. Everything is clipped and lubed.


I feel pretty cool right now.

I know someone with an original but he expects $2,000 USD for his and it's pretty rough, think he's dreaming...

Finally getting back to this after working on lots of other projects. Yes I am making the base out of plywood but I have a plan to make the finish nice before painting
