single legends will be an option, worry not.
you'll have to take the numpad + one additional set.
SP is very error prone when it comes to put the right keys in the right bag, so I'm trying to make things as easy as possible for them.

Thanks!
Doesn't 7bit just place an order for every single thing combined and then sort them all out himself by hand? Sure, it takes a few months…

you don't expect me to sort keys, do you?
metropolitan legends say that 7bit has an army of slaves dedicated to just sorting keys.

all the keycaps sold as "beige" that I've found are actually white/gray.
This is one of the few really "beige" sets I've seen (on the right)
and I find that black is too cold as a contrast color. Anyway I don't really care since I'm putting them on custom keyboards

oooh that is nice...beige and red. Also, I am a fan of Dual legends.... just sayin' :p When is this GB thinking of going ahead btw? After we have the colour for the mods sorted? Is font still all up in the air?

This time, it will be plain sailing!
Only 4 colors, no keys with invisible legends, keys are thick enough to grab and not flipping away once in a while ...
Also: I don't sort by hand!!!!
I use a robot instead.
@matt3o: will it be ready?

How about a DOS logo?
I would definitely love a smiley, hehe.
Or a sad or friendly Mac?

The bomb!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bomb_(symbol)
Perhaps a gallery of classic computer symbols? The tricky part is being sure they're not copyrighted.

I have a lot of these, since i wanted to silk-print a time ago
I don't know what colors / shades are possible... Nevermind, no copyright content:

the dos logo is actually very nice, and so the bomb.
also this is pretty iconic
but maybe too big
tomorrow I'll make the kits and see if I can find a list of nice nerdy icons, keep sending your ideas!

8 BIT MODE. (UTF-8)
Or even better:

I was trying to make something based on the Acorn logo or that logo in the style of the BBC Micro logo since a beige set brings to mind the Acorn Electron. My Illustrator skills are weak. I hope someone can do this.

BBC Micro logo is also very nice

Please review carefully the intl kit and let me know if you spot errors. Also let me know if some of the legends are not needed (<>| for example, maybe <> could be used).
NOTE that this is an additional kit to the base ANSI kit. All keys in ANSI are not repeated!
This should support: DE, ES, FR, IT, NO, SW-FI, UK
I could also add: BE, DK, PT
Your feedback highly appreciated. Thanks!

Kudos for planning international sets!
For DE, "-_" seems to be missing, and strictly speaking also "1!", "4$" and "5%", although these exist with an additional legend, so I assume they were left out on purpose already.

base (ANSI) kit should already have all those keys. the above is an additional kit
Posted: 01 Mar 2014, 11:18

<>| is "needed" for DE, but it is quite close to <>, I give you that.
EDIT: Forgot about ANSI and that there are no row differences huehue

is -_ the inverted ANSI _- ?
EDIT: no it seems the same, so we already have that

Ah, sorry, I didn't notice that these were the ones that ANSI already had.

thanks. DE and FR confirmed.
Please also check if we can remove some keys.
Unconfirmed languages will be removed

Ah, all these international characters remind me of a modifier/symbol key we forgot: the compose key, ⎄

Colored based on number of occurrence
If you agree I'd like to remove:
E€
<>|
2"@
2"²
4$€
5%€
²
Also since it's my language I'm going to put a single uppercase Ù instead of that nonsensical character nobody ever used.

I'd like a §± for my Apple ISO-UK quandary (so I can finally cover my Ducky correctly, my only ISO MX keyboard). But I'm not holding my breath!
Am I good for the other two, I wonder?
It was too much to ask (thanks to profiles) in Round 5…

UK layout is covered. I've never seen ± key, though. is it specific to Apple?

On symbols for modifiers: anyone have ISO/IEC 9995-7? Apparently it defines a number of symbols, such as the composite one I gave earlier, or ⎇ for alt.
We can probably find some of them by searching through Unicode, as some of the symbols are defined as characters as well. I'll take a look, see what I can find.
