I hope so. As much as I'd like testing out different keyboards, I am more than happy to part with the ones I don't use and that live their life in a closet!Muirium wrote: 25 Apr 2023, 11:57 Suffice to say: life is about to get much more interesting for this NovaTouch.![]()

[WTS] [EU-IT] IBM M122 Type II - 1986
Time has come to give a few duplicate boards a new owner who might put them to good use.
I am selling an IBM M122 I got a while ago, in decent condition but in need of restoration.
Please find the pictures at the following Gdrive link .

Re: I was just checking the Model K Keyboards site and just saw my dream keyboard
Saw the update on the website and I was also very pleased to see so many new models. The F122 is very tempting, indeed... 420€ + shipping + customs are quite less tempting...
Honestly, I wonder why the 122-key versions were not made that way since the beginning of the project.
Model K? 8-)

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
Good morning people of the keebs, I have come across a Unicomp 122-key terminal keyboard (no lock lights) with PS/2 connector from 1999, no info from the seller until now, no luck in searching part number on the label.
Any clue if this could be a BS board? Or just a big rubber dome?

Great, I think I'll get 10 switches if they still fit within the same shipping cost. A whole board is too much (I hope...) but thanks for your offer. I'll PM you for details if you don't mind.

i have a board which i completely dismanteled exactly for this case. if you need just 1 you only need to pay shipping if you want more, a good price would be 0,5€ each.
Well, I was pretty sure you would jump in the discussion! :D

[CLOSED][WTB][EU-IT] Hi-Tek 725 "Space Invaders" black clicky switches
Hi there!
I am looking for a few spare Space Invaders black clicky switches (just one would be enough but I'd be happy to get a few more).
I recently got a nice NOS PC122 keyboard that, unfortunately, has one switch with a broken slider.
The broken slider is the Numpad minus, that should not get ...

Well, let's see if I can get a good deal on the board...
Thanks for helping, I'll post updates if I end up buying the board.
However, your great mod/investigation on the PC 122 and the board itself should go on the wiki, the model seems undocumented.

Re: NMB Space invader ISO footprint
Like jsheradin stated the only real way to know is if you open it up and there is a voltage regulator. Otherwise, all other versions of the PC122 Rev. C should either speak XT/AT.
I have also replaced the controller with another refurbished chip instead of using a teensy. See here for more ...

2. If so ...

Re: ISO layout Key next to shift not working
I'll betcha it's the converter.
I have had a similar problem but, in my experience, it was a combination of keyboard and converter. The same cheap gadget that works flawlessly on a couple of keyboards I use constantly (a RD BTC and a Model M, for example) was instead creating the exact same ...

Re: Total Destruction Suggestions Requested
If you ask me, that's a pretty weird request. It was seller's mistake, the refund was nice of him but you shouldn't be supposed to destroy the keyboard. Maybe propose a small payment which would avoid you the hassle to break the keeb and show the actual destruction? After all you might still make ...

The only "trap" I can see of this specific spammer is in his signature (so DON'T CLICK ANYWHERE IN IT if you see it somehow). Regardless of the metohd they use, the purpose is the same: getting a curious user to click something that shouldn't be clicked.
