From the picture it seems the red light is ON on the promicro. If everything was wired up and flashed correctly you should only see a continuous green light. Check if the cables are shorting each other ? Check if the solder is constrained to the correct pinouts...

So this basically means I could use this as a replacement for Xwhatsit. Correct?

What key is `¬ ? And why would I need that ?

Finally I managed to fix it! The culprit was the clock and the data cables kept shorting. Somehow this seems to happen only when the case was closed. Used some electrical insulation tape to fix it. A full restoration post will follow...

The place apparently has piles of model Ms and Fs. Somebody get to Dallas and get a bargain on those boards ....

The converter definitely works - I’ve been using it on several other keyboards. The PCB is well grounded.

I recently restored an IBM XT.

It worked fine for a 2/3 days, but now the keyboard is inputing characters on its own and completely unresponsive.

I am looking for exactly one Model F flipper. One of my Model F flipper got slightly chipped, it works perfectly but I'd rather replace it.

Does anyone have some spares lying around? I'd prefer if you are located in Germany (or EU) as shipping would work out reasonably cheap.

Here are two pics that I have with me right now. I swapped the Z and Y, but I want to replace the entire keyset to UK ISO or US ANSI

I live in Germany and I have a few M122 (ISO QWERTZ) in pristine condition. I want to trade at least one of these for a UK QWERTY ISO or US ANSI. Its probably easier to trade the keycaps in stead of the whole keyboard. Let me know if someone would like to trade?

This was on Allegro for like 10 euros until it was taken off a few days ago.
