You probably meant pbt, they feel like every other PBT keycap. I think the set aims for the Triumph Adler typewriter aesthetic and I think it really catches the vibe. I used the missing keys to adapt a real typewriter set to a modern keyboard.

The problem is the shipping and that the keyboard is attached to the computer. 500€ is a steal, most beamers sell now for 1k plus, even though the bubble toke a hit with orihalcons new beamspring project.

Pull out your multimeter and test the grounding. The outside of the USB plug is ground, so should conduct with the keyboard plate / shell. I suspect it's not grounded, and that's how it fried. Grounding is to protect against exactly this.

Yes. I mean I didn't design it, but I think nobody would sell a keyboard without a grounded case (the part I added is connected with the original case). I know what you want say, but it would be pretty stupid if this thing wasn't grounded, but yeah kinda stupid that it ...
