I actually made my own layout after being fed up with how QWERTY Colemak is... also easy for programming as the symbols are easy to reach. Also vi/vim movement keys are not too hard to reach, unlike J on colemak.

Ah well. That's the simplest tell of all! I've got one too. They're okay boards, but I find the ghosting too bad to use mine day to day. IBM did a better job of handling the mods on the regular consumer Model Ms like the SSK.
Honestly I think I will stick with my 1979 Focus FK-2001 for daily use ...

Connector on an old ISO IBM Model M?
Hi,
I just happened to stumble upon an old ISO layout IBM Model M (the version with F1-F24). The connector looks like it should be DIN-5, but it is slightly smaller. Does anyone know what sort of adapter I will need to use this with a PS/2 or USB port?
