[WTB] Frosty Flake Controller For CMStorm QFR

Looking to buy a Frosty Flake controller for the CM Storm QFR keyboards.

Not sure if there are any other controllers for the QFR keyboard, but I would be interested in others as well. Just looking to be able to program in some layers on my keyboard.

I'm located in the US.

My QFR has been going strong for just over a year now.. so I can't comment on long-term reliability. So far so good.

Finish wise though.. as people have already mentioned the caps get shiny real quick. Also, the rubberized finish on mine wore fairly quickly by the space bar after only a few months ...

Says it's buckling spring.. but the only visible switches look like MX Blacks or something similar.

I'd love to make a 75%'er with Topre's. :)

Or I'd love more for CM to make one since no one else does. :)

Good to know!

Just bought an SSK from phosphorglow... so I've got time. :)

I see a few of you commenting on how this keyboard has more of a 'clack' than a 'thock'... could this just be due to thinner ABS caps versus a heavier PBT cap?

I'm not a fan of linears, but honestly I have trouble telling the difference between browns and reds.

(Then again, I like lots of tactility. I like it in different forms, but however it comes, I want lots of it.)

I have a QFR with browns, and a Corsair K65 with reds. I can definitely tell a ...

The reason is the orientation of this forum, no overclock/gamer/kiddie forum, but mostly grown up professional programmer/coder/typists who touch type and use the keyboard as their tool - at daylight office hours.
Just because many of us are grown-up and computer professionals, does not meant that ...

This is a good point... RealForce is here now with PBT's. Novatouch is in the future with ABS (albeit with Cherry cap compatibility). I'm sure the Novatouch will be cheaper, but possibly on par w/ RF price wise once PBT's are added. I have a feeling the overall quality of the RealForce will be ...

Oh might Oracle... is there a Topre with a traditional 70% layout? By traditional I mean the layout on the new Noppoo Choc Mini... as seen here http://yoomon.net/EbayPics/ChocMiniBrown/New%20CHOC.jpg

I use the F's keys, arrow keys, end, home, and delete a pretty regularly through the day when ...

I get crap from a few people in regards to the noise of my mx brown's. It's rather light hearted though.

If I type slow I can make the mx brown's just as quiet/quieter than the cheap rubber domes supplied by the job. My problem is I belt out upwards of 140wpm at times, and I'm a little heavy on ...

Tradition TKL would be just fine by me... but I wouldn't mind this layout either:

Except group End/Home together instead of having Pg Up/Pg Dwn in between them. :)
