Thanks for that. I guess I might have to.

I just ordered my keycaps from Aliexpress, took them almost a month. But I see no other options for getting a test set. Just seems very expensive. 10 of them are available for 2$ at other websites, but not free shipping. Hmm...I'll have to consider it.

I ...

Anyone have a few spare Gateron Yellows lying around I could test?

I bought a GMMK recently with Kalih Box Blacks. I previously used Cherry MX Reds...I felt them too light. Accident presses, bottoming out.

These blacks are seemingly too heavy. Been using the keyboard over two weeks now and I keep getting sore fingers...which happened with reds as well, but over ...

Aye. I'm looking aroudn for now, but perhaps finding some PBT Keycaps is the way to go. This keyboard is fine besides the Keycaps, but finding good PBT Keycaps seems to cost like 40$ or so...almost half the price of say, a Ducky One which already has em.

Been thinking about getting one of those ...

Went over to Geekhack and asked around there...not sure I care for them lol. They were very, very aggressive, almost every response I got was that every switch is shit and why their choice of switch is the best. I haven't had problems with the ALT Key the past few days. So I'm not sure.

But I did ...

Shame to hear the opinion on Romer-Gs. Also see Speed Silvers lately and hearing good things about them except they bottom out even easier. Probably not for me. Tempted to do Browns now after hearing about how it's easier to not make typos on them.

I meant Reds, in his response about tactility. I never thought of it. I do like tactile feeling stuff, my mouse has Tactile switches (G903)

Still, never thought about anything but Reds before. I mean reds low actuation, smooth feel and decent sound. Browns seem like a middle ground from what I read ...

I like the reds, but never felt they were really tactile. It's just I saw G910 Refurbished from Logi for 58$. That's really none too shabby for a keyboard of that build quality. Aesthetics aside, it interested me because of the build quality, though I hear reviews are also mixed about the concave ...

Well first I'd need a soldering Iron. Then I'd need to not fuck it up. I have poor muscle control. Delicate tasks are very hard for me.

I know it may seem like heresy around here, but how do people feel about Romer-G Switches? Never tested them. Hear mixed reviews, but I love Logitech.

Current Keyboard "ALT" key seems to be failing.

So, I was trying to use voice chat, which I have bound to ALT and it simply wouldn't work. ALT+TAB wasn't working. I restarted. Unplugged the Keyboard. Tried the other ALT key. It was working. Pulled the alt key-cap off that wasn't and cleaned anything under there, put it back on and it slowly ...

Thanks for being rude and incredibly unhelpful again. Then super popular in South Korea, I was just going off what I read on several websites about them being from South Korea. Oh well.

You STILL didn't answer my question about if those are Cherry MX reds or not, as the SKU / Model number doesn't ...

Wow, way to be a total dick.

And I want Cherry MX reds. Those ran out by now, and I didn't know what Switch it was - the Ebay guy never replied. And those weren't TKL. They were full size. I would NEVER buy TKL, as it's a total rip off - you pay more for less!

And sorry, a CM Quickfire XT is of ...

Yeah, those look nice, but I don't want to pay almost 150$ for a Keyboard. I like Mechs, but that is just insane. I know about Ducky quality

Yeah I saw they were part Rubber dome - but only on keys you rarely use, the ESC / F-12 keys and such.

Still, for 50$ I would've bit, but the 5$ shipping just pushed me over it by a dollar, literally, had 54$ in my bank. It would've been much better than the TOTALLY Rubber dome keyboard I am using ...

My Rosewill RK9000 died, need new MK.

So I've been searching. the solder was poor, I tried to fix it, but I'm not good neoguh and my Uncle is a mechanical engineer who does it for a living but he says he doesn't have the tools at home to do it.

So, I need a new MK. While Newegg likes to offer the RK9000s cheap, and I enjoyed mine, they ...
