I agree with wobbled. Topre 45g comes closest to MX Brown IMHO. 30g is way too light and barely has tactility feedback. It's almost linear feeling-wise.

Before upgrading to Topre (Realforce 45g) MX Brown used to be my favorite switch.

"Custom" third-party keyboards are a thing on iOS. I've only lightly dabbled with them on iPhone. Maybe there's something with a better layout for you out there, or ideally: a configurable keyboard you can design your own layouts for. Imagine!

There does not seem to be a toggle for this either in the keyboard options.

I saw this on Apple's website. Which is why I thought that there must be an option to enable it (at the expense of key size).

I second that! I use both trackballs to reduce repetitive strain on my wrist.

Nice to see another trackball model in this niche market. Even though I'm personally not a fan of those thumb models.

It seems that if one wants to try 55g Topre you have to buy a board with said domes or settle for something resembling the feel of those domes, for example BKE domes...
From what I have heard, those BKE redux domes are apparently quite different in feel. The better tactility ...

Remove the upper part of the switch including the spring and the stem and boot up the computer. If you still get the same problem I assume that something else is causing this.

The switches are PCB-mounted so that you can try opening the respective switch to see if it's the error source.

No, I don't. Keyboards are merely tools for me. Apart from that I only have two so not much to show off anyways.

Got mine too. The overall build quality is indeed quite good. Not as good as with my Filco, however, given the favorable price I think you get the biggest bang for your buck.

The caps are surprisingly okay. I have expected much worse after reading all the comments regarding them on various sites.

Too bad, some people on some forum wrote that this "Super 10" lubricant affects plastic in the long run. Well, I just keep looking then.

I personally prefer 70% over 60% sized keyboards since I use the function and arrow keys quite often. Plus, I'm not the kind of person who revels in the luxury of having a number of different keyboards for different purposes, moods, or whatever. It's got to be an allrounder.
