I agree with wobbled. Topre 45g comes closest to MX Brown IMHO. 30g is way too light and barely has tactility feedback. It's almost linear feeling-wise.
Before upgrading to Topre (Realforce 45g) MX Brown used to be my favorite switch.

Re: iPad software keyboard: How to get ANSI left shift key?
"Custom" third-party keyboards are a thing on iOS. I've only lightly dabbled with them on iPhone. Maybe there's something with a better layout for you out there, or ideally: a configurable keyboard you can design your own layouts for. Imagine!
Thank you very much for pointing me into that ...

Re: iPad software keyboard: How to get ANSI left shift key?
Thank you for the link. Yes, those steps don't help, unfortunately.
There does not seem to be a toggle for this either in the keyboard options.

Re: iPad software keyboard: How to get ANSI left shift key?
I saw this on Apple's website. Which is why I thought that there must be an option to enable it (at the expense of key size).

Ploopy Classic Trackball
Hello guys!
I have stumbled over this open source Ploopy Trackball , that is reminiscent of that old Microsoft Trackball Explorer (which I never used before). And I was wondering if there are trackball users here who have used it already. :)
If so, how do you fare with it in comparison to your ...

Re: Recommended Ergonomic Trackball?
I second that! I use both trackballs to reduce repetitive strain on my wrist.Archie wrote: 06 Apr 2021, 22:57 Can't say anything about thumb-driven trackballs - but as for me, one of the best are Elecom Deft Pro and Kensington SlimBlade.

Re: new vertical thumb trackball from Kensington [2020]
Nice to see another trackball model in this niche market. Even though I'm personally not a fan of those thumb models.

It's a nice addition to my desk setup. However, it mainly acts as wrist rest as using trackballs is more more convenient to me.

Remove the upper part of the switch including the spring and the stem and boot up the computer. If you still get the same problem I assume that something else is causing this.
