The only reason I care about the RGB is that it will allow me to put SA keycaps on a full-size board with Topre switches. I'm going to junk the stock keycaps immediately, and if I could I would junk the backlighting too, but since I can't I'll just be turning it ...

I would suggest to get the Realforce 87U 55g 10th anniversary. You get the real Topre internal with nice color scheme.
