Front part is smooth so decals stick well. The top part of those keycaps is granular so it could be even worse than conceivable.

On smooth top keycaps with a good varnish coating I imagine it could last a bit, but parsonally I would not try.

I took advantage of the keyboard I made with keycaps from 7bit grab box thread to try water-slide decal paper.

Not as good as doubleshot but can help for custom layout.

Case and switchs are OK but keycaps are very very light. Something stronger should be better for both feel and sound. In fact the only things I would keep from AT102 are plate and PCB. But ALPS keycaps are not easy to ...

We left the coating of the particle board which is very smooth. It slide quite well. Maybe a better solution should be find later.

The left stick is a five ways switch (https://sites.google.com/site/imgevola/images/alps.jpg), you are right it intends to replace WASD keys.

It's a poor quality picture but I could try to see them during the WE.

I may advise "loctite 3863 circuit+", it's designed to repair car rear window defrosting system but is efficient for that kind of job.

I didn't acheived layout but present it as I begin to use it. It's not fully functionnal, some adjustments are needed (delays, layout change logic).

It's designed to be used with windows, keeping native keyboard mapping (french). It could be plugged on any computer without changing system ...
