I'd cut off the protruding part with a sharp knife - leaves space to later fasten those back later with a short self-tapping screw.
Thanks for the tip. I bought a set of micro screws for this purpose, but the only ones I can screw in are M1. The problem with these is that the head is smaller ...

Hey, I found an old cherry Board (g81 - 1000 HCD) made in 1984. I have an issue with one of the connections of the membrane being so corroded, that a few keys dont work. In order to fix this I have to remove at least one switch. However these switches seem to be riveted on the back plate. Are there ...
