Re: Any info on the Toshiba T1500?
Heya, I fiddled around with some cpu watchdogs, but their pinout is just to wild. It kinda looks like a rat's nest if you solder them to the pcb. So I opted for an uC in the end. https://i.imgur.com/YdDjj4h.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/EVat0nE.jpeg I used an attiny45. I started at some nanoseconds for t...

Re: Any info on the Toshiba T1500?
necro, but did you succeed in the end? seems like a great boards, waiting for updates and good luck! Another necro; did anyone of you succeed? I recently got a T1500 and soarer's converter on its bare bones pretty much does nothing :( edit: I'll investigate myself, I have some ideas 😁 From pics the...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
The keyboard with the unknown yellowish Alps clones is from a MicroOrchid PC3 portable. I have updated the wiki article and emailed MicroOrchid asking for details. Too bad the email link for most subsidiaries is the one and the same as for the original manufacturer in China, so in the end it will b...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
OK, my bad, they're the real thing. I'm sorry your stabilisers broke in the process... The extra pictures would be useful in the Alps SKCM Blue article. Feel free to use them =) As I said, I'm stupid when it comes to stuff like this. And no problem about the stabilisers, I just printed new o...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
Yet another switch that need identification :( https://deskthority.net/wiki/Codegen_Technology_CG-84A1 You have to open at least one, and possibly the one under the space bar too as the spring something is likely to be different. External looks alone don't help identifying Alps clones, and the pict...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
I'm new here and want to add a keyboard to the wiki. It is a Memorex brended keyboard, no FCC code visible. I'm mostly interested in the switches on this one, I can't identify them. I disassembled one, pictures are attached. If you can, please re-shoot the disassembled switch, this time on a comple...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
I'm currently spamming the wiki This kind of spam is most welcome. You just need to experiment with the "widths" value of the "gallery" tag so the box around the picture doesn't look out of proportion. We could use other gallery modes to avoid the box entirely (hint: try adding mode="packed" as a p...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
Hey there! I'm currently spamming the wiki and encountered something weird. I just added this keyboard: https://deskthority.net/wiki/PC_PORTABLE_III What's weird about it - at first I thought the LED switches were Alps SKCL Yellows. But compared to my other Yellows they aren't just way greener but a...
