I currently have:
- Focus FK-6000 with OA2 white alps clone
- NTC KB-6151EA with pine white alps
- NTC KB-6251EA with pine white alps
- AEK2 with dampened creme alps
I like the feel of the OA2 as they feel a bit lighter. But I prefer the sound of white alps. Interestingly between the 2 pine white ...

SMK 2nd Gen vs Matias Switch
Seeking opinions of SMK 2nd gen vs Matias Clicky. Both are clones of the original Alps switches. I don't own either one of them at the moment; and I am quite curious in what folks here think.

I think you are right. It likely is using Honeywell/Microswitch SD series Hall effect switches. The picture of the switch very closely resemble that of the Sun Microsystems 32-key keypad: http://mousefan.telcontar.net/image/micro.htm

Northern Telecom TOPS keyboard
Does anyone recognize the type of switch used in this keyboard? The switch is linear. The keyboard is from a Nortel TOPS computer which is commonly used by phone companies.
