Just popping in to say invoices has been sent out and that, AFAIK, you have until the 9th of June to pay. I guess this also means that you can place your order until then, if you haven't already.

This set might not look flashy or as exciting as some other, but Cherry White-on-Black is hands down one of the most elegant keyset there is. It's like a good suit and tie for your board 8-)

Doesn't mention the switches, claims swappable plates despite switches looking like they're plate-mounted, and doesn't mention how it would communicate with the PC(pretty sure the USB and PS/2 keyboard protocols are digital-only).

It's "ICON" because there is no text on enter, shift, caps lock, tab and backspace.
Basically it's how the mods normally look on most ISO/Non-US Cherry key sets look.

A lot of text? Cherry didn't make icon ctrl and alt keys... at least not what I know of.

Purple mods are fine, but they shouldn't have been the first colorway that was run.
At that time a lot of WoB sets from 1800 boards (IIRC) was also harvested, to make people participate in the GMK group buys since the MOQ was so damn high. It would only have made sense to have run it in WoB.

Isn't Zealios switches just Gaterons with different springs, and then Zealios has exclusivity on the Cherry MX Clear equivalent stem? The purple one.
As far as I could gather, the new Gateron switches now share the same housings (clear tops and semi opaque bottom).

I used a very old jewelry file. It wasn't broad enough to fit the hole, so it made it harder to achieve a good result. But I also underestimated how much trouble a bad job would give me and rushed it. Should have been more patient!

Ah, that is indeed a good question :)
The answer is that I have a [wiki]KBT Pure[/wiki] that I partially installed LEDs in. When I used that keyboard, the LEDs would shine heavily through the cracks between the two keys in front of it. Like the LED installed in the "S" key would be very visible ...

The 250 minimum order is for each key, that means you have to order that specific amount for every unique key cap you request, so you cannot split the order as Prelim asked.

My proxy has already recieved my order with the international set (DK, UK, SE...) and I have yet to get a shipping notification or tracking number.

There is no standard keycaps per se. There is what is often referred to as Filco layout (or modern) which uses 1.25u bottom row modifiers, 6.25u spacebar and a long left shift. This is also what a modern G80-3000 uses although I am not sure on the stem positions on the spacebar and caps lock ...

That highly depends on what keyset you want to use...

Getting a keyboard with the layout and form factor you want is one thing, getting your preferred keyset to fit your keyboard layout is another. Once you get into custom keyboards you'll start to notice how big a problem this really is.

I don't know about the split backspace, but the rest is possible.

Just to get it straight. It does not require any exhausting amount of effort to refrain from clicking post, instead of waiting just 10 minutes to include a few more links in the same post, thus avoiding double posting.
