That its most likely just the aesthetics, its easier to clean if you have a bad habit of eating at the keyboard. I'm guilt of this at work due to being there wayyyy too much.

Its in very good shape!

I keep them in bags from 7bit on a book shelf.

(The Topre HiPro 1x keyboard keys (back on grey) were very very similar to SA profile if I recall correctly.)

I have the F122 [AT] and will be disassembling it today. Case is a bit cracked so do not panic about its donor status. Its one of the French F122s that were recently on eBay from Quebec. I also have the parts from the XT too.

From looking at the PMs it shouldn't be a problem for everyone to get ...

So I'll will have the following parts:
model F flippy plates (including springs)
model F AT-style barrels (with the nub on the barrel at 5 o'clock-ish)
model F AT-style stabilizer hooks
model F AT-style stabilizers
if you want certain keycaps you can ask but some have been requested already ...

Ok not to steal the thunder of the alternatives: The AT replacement for the part keyboard is on the way. I write up something on how to tell me what parts you need/address sometime this weekend. I also need to check my kishsaver to see whats missing:) Should have two boards worth of flippers/springs ...

As of now I have many model F flippers from an XT. I had forgotten :cry: that XT barrels and stabs are different so I still need to source from an AT. I currently have an AT that I previous restored from that I may harvest from if I cannot find an AT shortly.

I haven't replace my contamination shield and have no problems at all so far. I do cover the keyboard when I'm not at the PC though.

The only reason I chose silicone over neoprene at the time was the silicone has reportedly less of a smell. Though I do not think either are bad.

If the carbon tape works I can get a bunch of these made just in case others have the problem (including me) and do not have replacements. Hopefully it can minimize shipping since I'm in the US for a first hop. Otherwise I maybe to grab a spare F XT keyboard to harvest from.

Capacitive buckling springs require the carbon infused flippies, which are different from the ones used in Ms. The only known source, unfortunately, is parts from other boards, whether through a board that is too far gone (yet to see one of those..) or one where there's a spare from ANSIfication ...

I think I use the 30A (or 40A). I bought both sheets at the time but cannot remember which I used.

Don't know about the washers. How would you handle the notch? Just uses bigger ones?

Mine are all totally flat plastic, so maybe there is different types of feet. Either way I am in for a set.
