Also really good, but I think the grey caps fit the aluminium case better. It's somehow more pleasant to look at imo.
And the ?/ key is still misplaced

Ah ok, that checks out. A bit ashamed to admit, but I never noticed that until now. Thanks for explaining!

Besides from the obviously much prettier color scheme, I really like what you did with the arrow keys on the right. Is there a reason why some of the legends are black and some are white?

Re: Epson SKCL Brown Keyboard
First of all, very nice find! The locklight thing sounds suspiciously like with all the XT boards that handled that board-sided... (As in, whenever the key is pressed, the locklight's state changes). Same thing with the Zenith Z-150 XT, for example. Can you try it with a converter of some sorts?

While I'd totally jump on a JIS replacement set for my 106, even in pale beige, I kind of have to agree here. The Sachiko colorway is simply too beautiful, Andreas.

On the M0116 you can actually remove the Apple Logo fairly easily. There's a hole on the inside of the case and you can just push it out with a toothpick.

Re: Mechanical equivalent to the old AppleDesign?
I personally have no experience with the switches Apple used in the ADK, but it sounds like "Dome with Slider"-like switches should be right up your alley. BTC Dome with slider and Topre come to mind. Might be worth checking that out.

Yes! The company has quite the interesting history, and especially their early boards are very interesting, but 2011 they sold off their keyboard department.guidemetothelight wrote: ↑30 May 2023, 11:24Thanks for the Info ! Didnt realize that preh was german

Re: IBM Model 95 Typewriter - capacitive Buckling Spring
I have a wheelwriter I use from time to time, either for art or just for fun. This thing is an entirely different beast, but I don't want to rip it apart, to be honest. My main goal is to get the whole thing working eventually.

Given the fact that I filled it up from half and had 3/4 left when I returned, I'd deduct it was about 25 quid. Not a bad deal

Nice find and welcome! I remember that there are some threads here where people actually converted their honeywell boards. I know of plenty PC-AT Alps boards, but the selection for XT seems to be quite narrow. In regards to sound, the DC is top tier though! At least, that's what I've heard

Very nice! Is the DC-2014 really the best blue Alps XT-layout board or is it the only one?
