[EU-SE] Beamspring keyset
I've given up hope of ever finding a reasonably priced beamspring board so though I should see if anyone else would want the (Swedish) keyset I have.

I bought a whole keyset a while back to get local alphas, but I haven't managed to find a beamspring.

Re: Alps Opener
I've made a few iterations to see if I could make it work with soldered in switches, but this design just isn't made for that task.
The tool can't get far enough down to grab the top housing and get enough grip to pull it up when the switch is mounted in a board.

Re: Alps Opener
What plastic is it printed in?
Here on the link below you can read more about the material I'm using, beside Green I can also offer it in clear on request - other high-end materials can be used but would add a lot of cost for little upside in this use case.

Re: Alps Opener
Brilliant! I have to have one. I’ve fished out too many cocktail sticks from the insides of keyboards and scratched up too many housings with pliers not to love this. Does it work just as well with switches still soldered into the board?
That requires a little different design due to the tool ...

Hi guys,
I've been into the Alps game for some years now, mostly interested in building modern customs with Alps switches. Usually I just open my switches with my finger (given I have some nails but as we all know that's not always the case) but after doing a full board worth of switches you can ...

What parts have you successfully resin printed?
Hi guys!
I'm considering getting a resin printer to print hobby stuff and would like to hear first hand what parts people have successfully printed?
I would like to print keycaps, spacebars and even sliders for Alps, but I'm unsure if simple mSLA printers are accurate enough to produce usable parts ...

Re: Beam Spring 104+SSK Reproduction Project! First Batch In Stock, Shipping early next year after New Model F Project
This is very exiting and I would very much like to get my hands on a board -- but as already been pointed out, the case (in my eyes) looks terrible and should be given some more attention. How about looking for an already proven designer to help you, like ai03 for instance? I'm sure it wont be hard ...

Very impressive! Though I must admit I laughed a bit when you used a pen to outline the holes just after showing a cad model of the part when then was laser cut and bended

Re: Upgrade old trackball with laser mouse internals?
I would greatly appreciate any help, I just managed to find a brand new DT225 (old bus version) that I want to convert with a high res sensor. I've already got a DT225 USB that I bought new last year which is great, but it would be even better with an optical, high res sensor. I'm also intrigued to ...

Upgrade old trackball with laser mouse internals?
Would it be possible to take the internals of a laser or other high res optical sensor) mouse and put them in an old trackball?
Or is there perhaps even qmk or other open source firmware compatible hardware out there that could be used?

It would be highly interesting to compare this NyoGel 760g with other wet lubes like 320X and 20Xg0 which previously not been very highly regarded by some, I myself have quiet enjoyed at least Tribosys on Alps but yet to try an entire board with 205g0, but I'm sure it would feel amazing.

Re: XT/AT/PS2/Terminal to USB Converter with NKRO
Thats's too bad. How about different functions on hold/tap?
So for example if I tap Caps Lock it acts normal, but if I hold it becomes Alt, can that be done?
