Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
Right alt key was not working. I thought one of the switches was just broken but no, turns out the right alt was NOT SOLDERED. it didn't even look de-soldered, it just looked like the switch was not ever soldered to the board. One of the most crazy keebs related thing I've ever read. The first owne...

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
While the caps are a little too flamboyant for my taste, that's an impressive case mod you did there. Very nice! Thanks. That's right, the keycaps are just a temporary solution for now. There is no replacement for the 2.5u spacebar so it will have to be a gray keycap set. I'm going to try out XMI H...

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
No, it won't because these are not MX switches. There is no change to the mounting system, the PCB is still screwed to the plate. Springs, domes and silencing rings are in original condition. Slider are Deskeys. I heard the sound of the plastic case with my own ears, rebuilt the board by myself and ...

I am sorry not to have read and questioned it already in 2016... /s What else could I do, instead of writing down here? Asking the OP via PM? Doesn't help anyone. Create a new thread and link it? Leads to confusion. Tbh, this accusation of picking over the bones is nonsense imho. Hope you have a gre...

Re: ISO50 -- an ISO-inspired 50% keyboard
This keyboard is great! Since I saw this beauty for the first time I'm thinking of ordering the parts, so thanks to op for the files!
Who of you ordered a PCB, at which manufacturer and how much did it cost? Would it be possible to use a bigger space key and a detachable cable?

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
I'm into a wee bit of flex. Keep us posted! I'm into that too, so here's the NCR80 flexing edition! I have marked in the bottom case where the flexing cuts are and removed all braces in this area. First with a cutoff wheel on the grinder, then with a box cutter whose blade I heated over the lighter...

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
Bottom-out is quite hard, although the PCB has two flexing cuts. But they are pretty useless because of the braces in the bottom case. There's no room for the PCB to bend itself. O-ring-mounting could be a thing, I guess. Some flexing is great in my opinion, I'm going to take a test on this soon.

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
I also have an NCR80, but I built it plateless with a soldered PCB. Great board for it's price. "Low, open thock" seems to describe the sound well, but mine has "low, open, heavy click" because of the Kailh BOX Jades. Moreover there are Durock screw-in v2 stabilizers and a lot of foam in the case. A...

Yes, all four can be used for whatever you think. But it's not my smallest "keyboard", the PLIP.works D1P doesn't take up that much space.Clickerclack wrote: ↑23 Jan 2022, 12:48Does all four switches work like normal? Such an insane idea, but creative nonetheless

"D" means Germany and "91275" is the zip code of Auerbach/Opf., where Cherry is based. You are typing on a G84-4100PCMEU.
