I always am happy when I can necro my own threads with a solution for that one guy out there that is having the same issue :)

The problem was that the keycap I was using ( https://www.pckeyboard.com/page/product/PRGB ) had some flashing at the bottom of the support barrel ...

Just got an SSK, had the membrane swapped for a NOS one, and had it screw modded. It fires the |\ key occasionally when I hit left shift (enough for me to notice, but not enough to render the keyboard a junker). Wondering if anyone here has any ideas about what to do to fix it?

Also, I've tried on ...

Got some AT101W Caps without stab wires. The matias replacement ones cover the 2u keys nicely, but the spacebar wire is too short. If someone has an extra, I'll gladly take it off your hands.
