There's a weird mouse, keyboard hybrid thing on Amazon US right now called the "Tap Strap 2".
It kind of works in a similar sense to the TEX Shinobi, in other words, it kind of attempts to solve the same issues the 7 row QWERTY keyboard layout attempts to solve.
Grant the user every key of a full ...

RollerMouse RED Review
Lets get the first immediate cons out of the way. It basically costs as much as a Topre keyboard (near $265 USD or so), and the wired version (there's a wireless version as well) has a anxiety inducing thin wire. So for cheap and portable use, this ain't it boss. For everyone else, or everyone else ...

Re: Anyone know of a good scissor switch keyboard besides the Logitech k740?
The Perixx PX 1900 is a gaming scissor switch keyboard that isn't built like a wet newspaper roll unlike most scissor switch keyboards.
It's membrane matrix is optimised so the keys don't screw up in a gaming session. I use mine occasionally for a rhythm game that uses 9 keys, sometimes ...

Re: Rubber domes suggestions
If a subtle, elegant feeling, while still feature rich keyboard is what you want, go to Amazon, look up the "Perixx PX-1900", and get one of those. I myself used Topre with and without modifications (for example BKE Redux Domes), Unicomp/IBM Rubber Dome boards, among many others and I still find ...

IBM/Unicomp Quiet Touch Question
There's always something that didn't add up to me about those IBM/Unicomp keyboards that went under the "Quiet Touch" designation and thats that they're supposedly hailed as some of the best rubber dome (over membrane) keyboards ever made, but then if that was the case, shouldn't there technically ...

Re: Tell me about your experience with dome boards
The most "balanced" rubber dome (over membrane) keyboard I ever used is the "Perixx PX-1900". It is THE golden standard I use for a keyboard to be my everyday driver. Above average build quality, spill resistant, full 3.8 mm travel, contoured keycaps, etc. Plus it wasn't $80+ (USD) like most of all ...

Topre Realforce R2 6-key rollover issue?
Hello! While everything else has been going well, and the BKE Extreme domes are playing with the "Realforce R2 Pfu Limited Edition" a lot nicer than the Topre clone some times ago, I did encounter one quirky issue with this particular R2 model.
Apparently all models of Realforce R2 should have NKRO ...

Hako Royal True switches - first impressions/mini review
The only reason I'm posting this is because there is very little information on these switches.
Some background of these switches, Hako Royals are a collaboration between InputClub and NovelKeys. InputClub made, well, the Hako switch. Which is a highly divisive switch even by keyboard community ...

First impressions of the BFG-Keyboard (Drakken Prothero Spektrum)
I will attempt to do a review after I get more field use with it. It would be very dumb/reckless of me to write a review just 2 days into this keyboard.
Anyway, lets do this!
Build quality:
LOL its slightly lighter than a Unicomp EnduraPro. Slightly. In other words, its weight is actually pretty ...

Re: Objective reasons for using a mechanical keyboard
No there isn't. The problem with "objective" is that the more we think about what counts as "objective", the more subjective it ends up being. For example, "all rubber domes are worse than mechanical keyboards".

My choice would be the "Perixx PX-1900". It's a scissor switch keyboard with 3.8mm of total travel so you don't bottom out nearly as hard as say, a outright flat keyboard like modern Apples. While not NKRO, it can go over 6 and can do the QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG test and only misses ...

Less than a week of use and it already starts failing? I've heard of cheap rubber domes over membranes and some cheapo Chinese "not fake Cherry MX" keyboards failing within 3-5 months. But not even a single week?! :?: :?: :?:

Perixx PX-1900 乇乂丅尺卂 丅卄工匚匚 Scissor Switch Keyboard Review
The "Perixx PX-1900" is a gaming scissor switch keyboard by a company called, well, Perixx. They're based in Germany along with their designs. But actual manufacturing takes place in China. Keep that warranty nearby now! Now back to Perixx. Perixx's goal is to basically make high quality products at ...

With the RollerMouse RE:D, how many people here game with them?
I saw like one reviewer show a few seconds of what looks to be Counter Strike Global Offensive https://youtu.be/rCbos-s2cdU?t=3m6s . But no* show case videos of just gameplay with it in action. In the case of the RM RE:D specifically, it doesn't actually have cursor drift from my experiences and ...
