So I've come up with some neat ideas for this project but I think they may take me a while to complete them which is fine. I want to make this more interactive like the original, not just a keyboard and desk. Also the desk has two holes on the top I think this could use some finishing touches ...

Wow that PT-2 is interesting. I wonder if that is a beam spring or if it is Microswitch.
The cap profile and absence of stepped 1/shift etc. make me think it's Microswitch.

I can't guess at which it is, but some 3277 beamsprings (for example) have non-stepped caps as well.

Would be interested to know if anyone has had an IBM P70 from 90/01 or later with thick PBT keys. If such a thing has been seen, it would be extra helpful to know which month* it was produced.

Finished my SMK switch build, but waiting on my aftermarket case before posting picks. Currently in an old Quick Fire Rapid case, so it's nothing to look at.

Do all three of the switches show a similar graph? i.e. actuation point seems to be too far down. Possibly it's 2.5±0.5 mm, which would put this within tolerance, and the orange switch slightly out of tolerance.

Also, blue and white differ in peak force by around 20 cN, which makes me wonder how ...

Agreed. I've been looking for one with a nice badge, and planned on going for that one, but very recently you could get an F AT for not much more than $100, so I would be spending $200 just for the badge without a scratch--it seemed ...

Posted this earlier when the bidding was at $0.99. Can't believe people are willing to pay over $400 for an F AT. It's not even NIB or even in that great looking of condition. It's got an xwhatsit and ANSI mod, but it isn't worth that much IMO.
