Earlier, I put ABS/PBT/POM in boiling water. Less than 2min. ABS lost their shape. Misshaped ugly. But, POM has very little impact (but, for sure misshaped). PBT ? Perfect, nothing have changed ...

What are the Black Cherry "H" double shot keys made of?

I was originally under the impression that they were ABS which would kill my idea of dyeing them. However, I have read more recently that they might be POM, which I could dye.

I'm thinking of picking up a refurb G80-11900HRMUS in black, but ...

5 more hours....I actually had to look up what 2200 CET was in EST to figure it out it was 1600 EST.

Random comment: It looks like that spacebar is compatible with both Cherry and ALPS stabilizers, what the heck! Also that turbo key is nice, where is it from?

Anyway, don't think these will go for much. It seems to be the MX variant to the Focus ALPS keycaps.

I would definitely be down for a custom spec'd kbc poker with cherry reds instead of the tenkeyless...lead time is fine...especially if it actually gets made.

Had a G9x for about a year, but my pink started to hurt after long gaming sessions. I sold it and got a Mionix Naos 5000...3 months strong and problem solved. G9x was a great mouse and I feel the Naos 5000 performs just as well (same laser if I recall)...it just feels better in my hand.

In my last post I meant 310 stainless, not 304....however what I wrote is still true of 304 stainless as well.

Also, when I asked them I was told that the material change was not to save costs, but rather to make the switches more durable to corrosion. Kinda questionable decision, considering that if you spill liquid into a switch you are likely still fucked anyway, corrosion following or not.

I really want to try Topre 55g, MX Clears, MX Reds. I'm getting some brown springs in the mail next week and will be converting my G80-11900 to "reds" so we will see, there may be a new king in my book.

I have a set of double shot key caps that are kind of a weird layout and don't think I will end up using them...not sure what to ask for them.

I haven't yet tried every switch out there, but have listed every switch I have tried and the order in which I like them...towards the bottom of the list, the order is more vague/arbitrary.

1) Cherry MX Black (feels endless and smooth...whether PCB or plate mounted, they are hands down my favorite ...

This thing looks awesome. Was really hoping from the first pictures that the entire keyboard had red switches, but I do love the black switches. So the retail price looks like it is going to be around $100 USD? And I'm guessing it will have to be imported individually.
