Keyboard trouble

Hey there, had a quick question. I recently purchased the Rosewill RGB80 16.8million color etc etc. It has the cherry MX blue switches, and was 109 dollars from Newegg. I must say that compared to my 20$ target keyboard, and a mediocre Logitech one before that, this keyboard is pretty great and feels wonderful. However, I have one complaint I have grown to notice as I use it.

I have the LED back lighting enable, I originally did the 5 color looping with the 10 keyless program that comes with the keyboard before settling on dim as it is much nicer and pleasant. At first there weren't any problems with the keyboard but I began to notice something with the color no matter which setting I was on (Which may be a good thing as it allowed me to recognize a problem). I'll be typing along (Or not) and all of a sudden it'll go from the color I chose (currently a dim setting with purple) to flash default white before resuming the color dim. Now you may assume, no big deal - sounds like nothing, however it's like the keyboard lags out. If I happen to have a key depressed when this oddity occurs, it spams that key until it 'catches back up'. In the process of writing this it had occurred about three times.

So my question, has anyone else come across this type of problem, and if so what could I do to fix it or stop it.

Sounds like a power problem. Try a different USB port (could be a problem with a hub) and then another computer. If this still happens everywhere you try it, return the board.
