Model M 122 Key Cleaning!

This is a model M 122 key that I cleaned a couple days ago I got it off ebay from here:

I first removed all the outer keycaps and keys that had stabilizers. All the keys were grimy and the body had some black ink on the left side. I would also like to note that there were only two keys that used wire stabilizers the two enter keys one on the numpad, and the main enter key. The rest had the insert stabilizers.
I then flipped it and opened the screws also, the rubber feet were very sticky.
Opened up, the barrel plate was filthy and grimy. I also found a paper clip and a staple on the inside.
Next, I decided to clean the keycaps. Both the top keys and the stems.
I soaked them in warm water with a little soap to remove the grime.

Keys Drying
I cleaned the outer case with warm water and goo gone in order to get the ink off. It can be a little difficult with all the grooves you have to deal with that have dirt lodged in.
Case and Stems Drying
Here you see the 5 pin DIN connector. Man sometimes I wish my PC just had one of these ports so I could have the satisfaction of plugging it in. Altough the soarers converter I use with my model F plugs into it.
I will be uploading the barrel cleaning after this.
