So, I have a Filco on the way, I'm really interested for future reference to know where I could acquire a Filco MX Red TKL.

If you're looking for a Filco MX red TKL I'd ask the Keyboard Company what the status is on these. Diatec is pretty exclusive when it comes to distributors outside Asia, so your choices will be limited. You could try to import one from Asia, but I don't know the availability at the moment, maybe someone else knows.

Filco red is very hard to find now. I was on a quest to buy my first Filco tenkeyless red. That was right after keyboardco sold their last filco red TKL. When it was in stock, it was about $240 shipped to the US. keyboardco had only black body model. titmouse on GH PM'ed me that he contacted daitec in Japan and their reply was that they are not making any more TKL reds. That was back in late May. I figured that Filco has used up all their red switches from Cherry. Hence the "limited" on the reds box.

So I decided to try to buy one from taobao. Since it will be expensive to get one from China, I thought I might as well get a white body Filco since it is only sold in China. After my buying agent checked and checked over 10 sellers on taobao, we finally found one. It costed me $270US to have it shipped to me, agent fees included). taobaobee.com was my agent. They are pretty good. About 8 to 9% fees please 4% for paypal transfer + about $45 EMS shipping.

Then qtan on ebay started selling filco reds, around $180 for black body, $230 for white body shipped. Lopan and I bought 5 of them from qtan, 2 blacks and 3 whites. Now I have 2 white bodies and 1 black body.

qtan is now selling keyboards from China on GH. We asked and he said he can't find any more Filco TKL red, black or white body. Army Group in Taiwan had some, but they are all sold out now. You might be able to find on on taobao, but you will have to check with many sellers because most taobao sellers don't close listings even after they sold out. BTW, I also have a white body Filco MX brown, from Army Group in Taiwan.

lopan is selling one of his black FilcoTKL reds now on GH. That is the only Filco reds I know that you can buy now. Good luck in your search.
