Got this thing a few days ago. Kinda interesting, I suppose:

Basically appears to be a Lexmark refurb'd 5291. New foam, apparently either cleaned or repainted top plate, and washed keycaps (I think I spotted a few bits of grime underneath some keycaps). Case seems to be a refurb as well, judging by the feets. Also, Model M label...

Good buy! Do you think it feels the same as a non-refurb Model F? I always thought my Lexmark unsaver felt nicer than my IBM original unsaver.

I've seen Lexmark Model Fs before, as well as keyboards (such as the 104-key) that should be Model Fs, but had Model M labels instead.
I wonder if they refurbished the keyboard by putting a membrane inside the Model F-style assembly.

That was my initial suspicion when buying it, but nope, standard F type assembly. Feels mostly like an F, though suspiciously different from my nib 122s...

You have NIB F-122s?

Nice find Parak! I´d say "refurbished" is the key here. "Bigmoot" is a nice name for it. On the other hand this keyboard might be quite rare. I wonder who did the refurbishing?

Maybe since it's a lexmark... 'Bigloot' could also work

it will just be an ibm with a lexmark badge possibly they found old stock or still had parts and put them together , if lexmark had the tooling for model F they would have used it imo
