wcass has posted a Kishaver replacement interest check on Geekhack
http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=584 ... msg1334238. Goal is under $10 to replace all 4. Mold material (durability between castings) depends on responses.

Thanks for the link. I'd better check my feets…
One IBM board of mine that definitely needs new feet is my XT. But those are cork, and much broader.

Mine are all totally flat plastic, so maybe there is different types of feet. Either way I am in for a set.

Yes, mine look similar:

Note Xwhatsit's USB cable!
I could still be interested in replacements, if they do indeed fit the case. There's more than one kind of Kishsaver undershell. I proxied 4 of them, and my 1986 model is the latest and a little different. I took pictures I should dig out for comparison.
Meanwhile, my XT is the one sorely in need of new feet:

Cork seems to slide around, over the long haul. My XT is missing two feet entirely, so I stuck on a set of those fluffy things to stop it from eating my desk! Too slippery by half, though. I'd love some real feet for it.

OK, thanks to
Monster-Toys we have
two mold designs; a classic 2 piece, clam shell, top pour and a 3 piece injection mold type. The three piece has the advantage of no mold seams on the foot bottom. The two piece uses less mold material and less voids, so it would cost less to have made.

For the actual foot material, I would like to use platinum cure silicone. It is chemical, UV, and heat resistant and should last for many years. It can be formulated to a specific color and Shore hardness, but it is more expensive than other materials and usually requires vacuum degassing. An inexpensive alternative might be Oogoo.
As this is all very much new and untested, I think I will start out going the inexpensive route and reporting back what works and what doesn't. I think I will also look into making those plastic spacer things that always seem to be broken.
