If you want to know if your guess is right, then please PM me, if you guess in the thread you might unwittingly spoil it for someone else. I'll keep the thread updated with the results.
Of course, I'm only suggesting that you PM, you are free to do as you wish.
Good luck (not that you guys actually need it)

Weirdest F-key/cursor key arrangement ever.

I find the F-key arrangement to be ingenious. You don't have to lift the hand
over the keyboard, and you can find the right key by touch without having to move around too much or even just by muscle memory.
Within the field of graphic user interfaces, there are popup menus that are laid out the same way and there are papers that claim that they are faster to use and easier to remember than conventional menus with menu items in a straight list.

This is the first of these threads of yours that I don't even have a clue where to start to find out.
edit: (well, I found a pic of it on my first google search term but that didn't help at all)

Well, the most obvious wiki category is this one, which is hopefully where it will end up once the competition is over:
Category:Keyboards with integrated pointing device
There's not a lot in there yet. Nothing like the one pictured above. Ascaii ignored my request for more info on the one he's selling off, so screw that one.

The three keys you can glance in the bottom-left corner are F2, F3 and F4!

Oh nice, good to see that someone from here bought it - I contemplated bidding but I had no room at all for it
Will also not participate in guessing as result of knowing what it is due to auction. Let's see if someone can do detective work!

I am interested in what switches are in this beast though

HaaTa is right, if this one has nice switches, then it is really promissing! I once tryed to modify a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 into mechanical and I looked forward to replace the scrolling thing in the middle with a trackball... Unfortunately I have up on modifying all keycaps to fit on the MX stems...
Show us the switches!

Interesting ............ More questions arise from this, but I don't want to say more in case I give away too much.

Okay, it's a Mykey from Ergonomixx.
I thought it was rubber dome. The switches feel so stiff that I wish it was rubber dome.
Thanks to everyone who could have posted the answer in the thread but held back.

Well, the switch is rubber, but just in the form of elastic bands instead of domes.
So, this keyboard is no relationship to Datalux or MEI? It's interesting to see someone else buy MEI's switches. Even if that was a mistake.

MEI switch in the Wiki. That's a unique mechanism.. Conductive rubber sideways.

Interesting! But the switch seems not that enjoyable

Any chance to put MX into it? The soldering points seem promising.
