OK so how do I get one?

Easy! Write several thousand new articles for the Wiki next year. Or make a bigger discovery than HaaTa. Maybe if you talked IBM back into making SSKs…

OR... run enormous unending keycap group buys

Or convert Teletype keyboards to USB using a Teensy and sticky back plastic.

We'd have to get more female club members.

"Lemme show you my wingnuts" surely works on either gender.

No way!
I believe in Korea must exist some female keyboard enthusiasts.
Let's do a group buy!

I'm surprised that the wingnuts don't have the year on them. A trophkey with no year …?

Indeed, that's what I've thought for a long time — there seems to be no other practical alternative. It would result in a far more satisfying life than having a metallic-painted keycap as your sole companion, even if you did affix googly eyes onto it.
Even the procreation restriction is of no concern as I have no plans or desire to start a family anyway. I don't like children.

It's always good to have a little sunshine in a thread like this.

Don't count on it. My wife is from Korea and she doesn't give a damn. Of course, I've taught her all about beam springs, buckling springs, ALPS switches and tripleshot keycaps, but she just presses the keys a few times and says "that's nice" with the same kind of look as one would use when humouring an escaped lunatic.

Otaku, nerd, geek, or "boffin" as our people used to be called in Britain. It's the same story everywhere. We're probably ahead of the Bronies for public acceptance, but still a long way to go!

on GH I've been contacted by a girl that is actually building a custom keyboard.

There are/were some female enthusiasts, Chloe most notably. Once I was PMed some pictures of a girl member posing... but before I thought I was special it came to light she sent them to 3 or 4 guys.

The older woman knows her way around a keyboard, if you know what I mean.
Hey, why are you all looking at me? I was complementing her typing skills!

Btw, even Beardsmore should appreciate how good the design it. It is otaku, with a wink. You flaunt it with pride.
