Shipping in EU

I recently acquired a Model M 1394324 which will be sent to a friend in the UK until I sort out shipping. What would be the best choice for shipping this from the UK to Cyprus (EU)? I don't know what the size and weight of this keyboard are so it's hard to estimate the costs, perhaps someone who has one can give more info, as I understand it's the same dimensions as the Model F but lighter. Thanks for any info.

Oh, it's a large terminal board (122-key).

I don't have any of those. Maybe someone who has one could chime in. The "normal"-sized boards weigh beween 2 and 2.6 Kg, so I would guestimate something between 3 and 4.5 Kg.
I think that Royal Mail is the least expensive, but I know that it is not cheap.

It's the cheapest but they have a limit of 2kg for international parcels and I think they also have a size limit. Perhaps if it's taken apart and sent as 2 parcels it will be possible.

Hmm. It'll be weaker if taken apart. And the main mechanism is easily most of the weight, anyway. I'd say try checking other couriers.

I have a 122 key Model M, too. I'll weigh and measure it if that's any help. They did vary a bit over the years, though.

My Model M is a 1394324, UK layout too. But I did a bolt mod on it, which will have added a few grams. Anyway, its stats: weight 2351g. 530 x 220 x 65mm. Neither small nor light. But only 87% the weight of my smaller Model F, at least! And Kishsavers are over 3 kilos…
