I found some SGI keyboards in a garage.

1. Granite

It has ALPS White switches

According to here, there are some type of 9500900. My one is made in USA with Whites.

FCC ID is GYUR58SK.
I searched this on FCC site. But there is no info

According to Silicon Graphics article in jawp, sgi logo began to be used from around 1996. Thus, this one is newer than above.

Only the one of the top is valuable, the others are rubberdomes. Things with the stupid sgi logo on have not even colectible value for true SGI fans.

White, tactile, non-clicky, dampened, right? These are usually called "White Cream", because a switch that is identical but with a cream-coloured slider is more common.

Stupid sgi logo is stupid.

It is. I used it at work for a few months, because I work in a large room with eight developers, so I wanted something silent. It's a very nice heavy, high quality board with a sturdy iron plate. The switches are ok, but not my favourites. They are nicely tactile, but tend to feel uneven if you hit the key under an angle. Might be due to their age, and some lubing might help, but I didn't try that.

used one for a while, but after some time I found the switches more gritty than tactile, by far not as bad as the black Alps in a Dell AT-101W, and a bit similar to Cherry browns perhaps. But that might have been the age of the board; it came from a college and it didn't exaclty feel virgin. The dampened sliders are nice though, and I really liked the thick keycaps.

It's sad how SGI keyboard quality degraded over time - just like with every other computer maker.

I prefer orange ALPS over the white ALPS in the SGI granite, but the original keycaps were nice - so I put them on an original AEK.

There's a granite for sale in my neck of the woods for £50. I'll wait till the guy lowers the price (his usual tactic with all these varied boards he lists for sale at arbitrary prices) as I'm all out right now anyway. Looks in good condition.
