I have a M13 keyboard that has trouble with the page down keys. When paging down in a long document the doc will jump back to near the top of the document. The pgdn key next to end is the most troublesome, but the one on the numeric key pad will show the problem less frequently.
I have tried about 4 ps2 usb converters and all have the same problem. Plugging the keyboard into the ps2 port has the same result. I have tried it on my 2 pcs and the problem remains.
I have another M13 and it works fine on both of my pcs.
I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have to solve this problem.

If you scroll down in a document and just type some does it happen then too? Sounds like your getting random page up key strokes. The fact that it happens with both regular page down and on the numpad points toward it not being just a short between switches.

Do you have another Model M? It may be worth temporarily swapping the controller (it doesn't matter if the other is not an M13, the keyboard controllers should be interchangeable) to see if the issue lies there. My bet is that there's some sort of damage to the membrane that will require you to open the internal assembly to rectify, and you'll have to do some bolt modding in the process.

What intrigues me is "near" the top of the document. Is it just that Home is being pressed by mistake? Maybe block Home with AutoHotkey to see if that's what's being triggered.

Another seemingly unrelated (but not in the matrix) key is stuck.

If you'd like to test this independently of your current OS and software -- to eliminate those as possible causes -- you could get a Linux boot disk (e.g. Ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop). Use 'xev' to see the keyboard events that are being generated when you hold down PgDn.
For a more in-depth analysis, you could use Wireshark. You will need to connect the M13 to your PC via a USB adapter. Wireshark can capture USB traffic under Linux (not supported under Windows, unfortunately). This would enable you to inspect exactly what the keyboard is sending.
