Here are some photos of my first mechanical keyboard, a Focus FK-2001. Bought on ebay, NIB, Portuguese Layout.

Interesting! And here I was thinking that the presence of the Power-Sleep-Wake cluster always meant "non-mechanical". A nice little rule and easy to apply, but as it turns out now, not quite universal.

does the power/sleep/wake works ?

Does the seller still have more on ebay? he had quite some. I might buy one.

Seems he still is selling them. I wonder how big is the full stack.

The power button works, shutdowns the computer. The other two don't seem to work but i don't use them.

The seller is located in Spain, so i got them (i bought two) a couple of days after the purchase.

how's the switches? i hope they're not the type II/IV, maybe type I?

I'm a noob in those matters, but according to the wiki they are "White Alps clone, probably Hua-Jie AK series".

So basically this is why the FK-2002 had a short life — European layout models reverted to the FK-2001 with bigass enter.

Wow, that truly is a lovely board. reminds me that I need a vintage alps board.

I got another like that from the same seller, I'm thinking about selling to make some room at home

The FK-2001 pictured is neither vintage nor Alps, but otherwise, I agree with you :) Orange Alps sound nice (and the force graph is good) — I need to give them a try.
