I got this board yesterday. The case and keys are in atrocious condition. They will need some serious retrobrite sessions. All that board chow blew out of the keyboard easy enough. The switches are in awesome condition and I must say...blue alps are my favorite alps by far.

I'm contemplating soldering in these blue alps into Matias' mini quiet pro, but having home and end on the function layer is kinda of a bummer as I use those two keys way more than pg up and pg dn.

Nice - well...gross...but nice work on getting some blue Alps :)
You should de-solder them for the Hyper Mini/Micro project - eventually they will do an Alps version. I suppose the caps are double-shot? Despite the yellowing on some and slight shininess, they actually look pretty good.

Yes, they are doubleshots. Rather odd doubleshots at that since the legends on some keys (namely left shift, right shift, and enter are raised even though they are doubleshot).

The F row is not doubleshot though.

The chicony turned out to be too much work...so I soldered the blue alps into my Omnikey 101.
