Grrrr... Salt in my wounds....
Like I said : excellent find. This find prompted me to get me my own one by setting up an ebay watch.
Are you sure you are not re-selling?

There have been a few of them on ebay.de since Half-Saint got his, if I knew you were interested I'd would have posted/pm'd about it and you could probably have had one each...

Yes, there's a Spectrum 128k inside modded to output S-video!

Are those caps printed? My DK'Tronics had stickers, and I wore them out. Good old noisy clattery switches too. And room inside for not only a Speccy but an Interface II! And power supply. And amplifier to make those beautiful BEEPs even louder.

Well, I completely forgot about them.... Until I saw the post.
So, if you ever run into one again, please notify me! ( Me first, then 7Bit of course...

My attic is full of surprises. I threw away at least 10 of these which I broke on Daley Thompson's Decathlon and Kick-off (Amiga) in some distant, misty past.

Saboteur. Terorrmolinos. Manic Miner. poke 23659,0. The memories!!! My first computer hardware mod was on a ZX spectrum 48K (with the rubber keys), finding the composite video signal on the side of the RF modulator, drilling the case, installing an RCA jack for video out, and soldering it. Much better A/V quality, dunno why they didn't include composite video out rom the factory.
I'm still amazed at the pseudo 2-channel music they pulled off in some games and music apps!

I remember being pretty impressed by this one - bearing in mind this was the 48k version, so no multi-channel AY chip:

Bought myself a zx81 power supply. The guy said he had a 'large keyboard' for the spectrum he would also put into the box....
What a nice surprise I got!
