Something cool before I go on my mid-exam vacation for a week

This is a medical imaging keyboard from GE. I didn't have anything from GE yet, so was curious.
It uses linear RAFI switches (probably licensed from ITW).
The internal computer is fully shielded, and it seems like the manufacture date is somewhere between 1998 and 2001.

Nice find, and thanks for sharing.
I alwlays wonder how you manage to find all this stuff.

By the way, "étiquette" is French and just means "label"

That is perfect timing, I was wondering when I would find time to make pics of the keyboard someone gave me yesterday and which happens to have the same switches and same doubleshot keycaps as that GE keyboard.
If anybody is interested, precisely the same as mine is listed on eBay.

Goes to show how good my French is...

I have my sources :D
My awesome:dud ratio is pretty good, though I've paid quite a bit for crap in the past...which makes the wallet sad.
One of my eventual goals is to document the protocols and make converters for all my non-standard keyboards, so I purposefully go after the keyboards that I know do not work with modern computers.
So if anyone has something they think I'd be interested in, let me know.

And why hasn't anyone written a RAFI switch article in the wiki yet! (It may take some research into ITW though)

Hmm, right now. Probably not.
I'm about to move again soon (and in truth, I got enough Key Tronic stuff :P).

When I get back, I'll post the Burroughs/Honeywell keyboards I got a while ago (I have 2 of them, so one of them is up for trade/sale if there is interest). Uses Honeywell Hall Effect switches.
