Newest keyboard acquisition. A stock, unmodified IBM F AT. I bought it off of bootstrap. I had to replace the keyboard badge...the original one was torn up something fierce. Excuse the crappy photography.

Nice. I bought one for $90 + shipping in excellent condition. F AT's are worth every cent.

Nowadays I value my XT more highly than the AT thanks to the creative remapping made possible by Soarer's converter. It's also a few grams lighter.

Are these buckling springs too? or is it an entirely different mechanism?

Don't ask when you can find it in the wiki using "model F XT":

Both the XT and AT are in the same article, and they both use the "capacitative-sensing buckling spring" mechanism.
