IBM Model M 122 1392149 connector question

I bought a 1392149 on ebay, saw it was a DIN plug, and ordered a converter from tinkerboy, because (long story in another post) I'm new to this, but when I got it, and looked at the plug, I could see it was a DIN 180. I ordered a DIN 180 converter from them, subsequently. Quick question: Will a DIN 180 converter work on an M122 1392149 on a Mac using VIAL?

Sounds like you need the DIN 240 adapter. Looks like that M122 board came with a 240 DIN cable. I know nothing about Macs.

It looks like a 180 to me, but I guess I'll find out when I get the first converter I ordered...

I also don't know about macOS compatibility, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. You have already ordered the converter anyway, so you will know some enough. ;)

P/N 1392149 is a special case, it's a host-connected keyboard with a 3270 PC style layout and an AT-style DIN plug. You can see the plug in this listing. A possible use case for it would be IBM PC/3270 terminal emulation software running on IBM PC/ATs.

Defiantly a 180 DIN plug in the link Sharktastica. So he should be good if that is what he ordered.
