Soarer's Converter IBM Model F XT issues

Hi there,
I have used a pro micro clone to create a Soarer's Converter, confirmed the wiring works correctly with a 5 DIN Model M, however my Model F XT is not working.
I get this output with hid_listen:
A couple of keys create the r80 -/+00 codes.
Occasionally on plugin I get this:
I've confirmed the cable is fine internally with a multimeter.
Where should I look to next to further debug this?
