Ever made a Soarer’s converter? It’s just a matter of sticking a Teensy somewhere convenient and soldering a handful of wires.

Now, if you’d rather the converter was external in a pretty box and using the original cable, then you’re into fancier territory. Orihalcon may be your man, or Hasu if he does them.

It's called a WYSEverter. I just posted about this a day or two ago because I have a WYSE WY-60 keyboard. It's a Soarer's with WYSE firmware. I was able to make one "work," i.e. I can hit keys and random characters appear on screen, but I don't yet have the 4p4c connector, and I can't fit all four Dupont connectors into the cable jack on the keyboard.

If Orihalcon does have a pre-built, I'll be interested.

I have an ISOETEC branded version of this board and can confirm a Teensy fits quite well with some 3M VHB.

One weird note, for some reason SHIFT+J doesn't register. HID_listen makes it seem like a matrix blocking thing done by the board itself. I messed with Soarer's settings for a bit and had no luck. I ended up just swapping the matrix position with RCTRL.

Orihalcon did sell an adapter, but it's not currently listed on ebay. Here's the old ad:
